1.Tadasana🧘

Tada =mountain; Asana = Pose/Posture

(This posture is Pronounced as: tah-daah-SUN-ah)

➡️Tadasana yoga or the Mountain Pose is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners and is considered to be the foundation of all standing yoga postures. This pose requires the engagement of the entire body while relaxing the mind.
📌Benefits of Tadasana

*It improves posture, opens up the chest and lengthens the spine
*Gently strengthens the thighs, buttock and leg muscles
*It is also beneficial in increasing awareness and concentration
*Reduces flat feet and relieves sciatica
*Releases tension from the face

2.Vrksasana🧘

Vrks – Tree; Asana – Posture or Pose
The asana is pronounced as VRIK-shAH-sana
This posture replicates the graceful, steady stance of a tree.

📌Benefits of the Vrikshasana (Tree Pose)

*This pose leaves you in a state of rejuvenation.
*It stretches the legs, back and arms, and invigorates you.
*It brings balance and equilibrium to your mind.
*It helps improve concentration.
*This posture has been found to relieve some cases of sciatica.
*It makes the legs strong, improves balance, and opens the hips.
*Helps those who are suffering from sciatica.

3.Konasana🧘
Kona =Angle; Asana = Pose/Posture

(This posture is Pronounced as:konah-sanah)

📌Benefits of Angle Pose (Konasana)
*It helps stretch the sides of the body and the spine.
*Helps in toning of arms,legs,and abdominal organs.
*Helpful in relieving back pain.
*Increases the flexibility of the spine.
*Helps those who are suffering from constipation.
*Helpful for people suffering from sciatica.

4.Utkatasana🧘
The literal meaning of Utkatasana is intense posture or powerful posture.

(Utkat=Intense, Powerful; Asana= Posture/Pose; pronounced as U-t-kat- asana).

📌Benefits of Utkatasana / Chair Pose
*Exercises the spine, hips and chest muscles
*Helps strengthen the lower back and torso
*Tones the thigh, ankle, leg and knee muscles
*Balances the body and brings determination in the mind.

5. Kati chakra asana🧘
Kati = Waist; Chakra = Wheel, Circular Rotation; Asana = Posture, Pose
The name of this yoga posture, Katichakrasana, literally means rotation of the waist. It gives a nice stretch to the waist and helps in making it more flexible and supple.

📌Benefits of the Standing Spinal Twist (Katichakrasana)
*Good for relieving constipation
*Strengthens and improves the flexibility of the spine and waist
*Good for arm and leg muscles
*Opens up the neck and shoulders and strengthens the abdominal muscles and lower back
*Beneficial for those with sedentary or deskbound jobs.
