In this video Virya Yoga teacherJosephine Selander gives some good information for both students with limited and excessive range of motion in forward folding postures. When you do a forward bend in yoga postures you need to be careful not to round the back too much particularly if you are a beginner and sitting up high as this can place tremendous pressure on the low back.
