Yoga has described backbends as the fountain of youth by saying ‘ you are as young as your spine.’ The more we get old, our backbone finds it harder to create an extension, and we started having regular back flexion. 

Therefore though backbends aren’t pleasing at the beginning as you will progress, you will enjoy and find the following benefits –
