Donning a tutu and jumping around like a pretty, pretty ballerina was a highlight of dress-up time back in the day. Sadly, not all of us grew up to be the next Misty Copeland, but a good, sweaty barre workout is arguably the next best way to live out your prima-ballerina dreams — and burn a ton of calories along the way. Next to grace and elegance, ballerinas are known for their strong and toned yet slim legs. Long and lean has always been the goal for me, so when it came time to hunker down and finally attack leg day, I chose barre. These are the YouTube workouts that whipped me into shape after just a couple weeks.
