Welcome to Be Bettr with Yoga. In each session, our Yoga Guru will share with you some asanas that you can practise at home to become Har Tarah Se #aBetterYou and achieve your goals.

Yoga is a group of spiritual, physical and mental practices that originated in our homeland India and dates back to almost 3000 BC. These ancient practices ensure a sense of holistic well being. In today’s hectic lifestyle, we are faced with an avalanche of problems that affect our physical, mental and spiritual health in different ways. But the good news is that if we take just a step back and reflect, we can find a solution to each of our problems in the practices of Yoga.

In this yoga session, Yoga Guru Diksha Lalwani who has been practising and teaching yoga for the last 10 years shares various postures or exercises and helps beginners to do yoga. If you’re a beginner and are willing to start yoga for a better posture or just for better health, this video is for you. If you are suffering from a chronic ailment or an injury, then you should take advice from your family physician before beginning these asanas.

How to do exercise for beginners? Here are the postures that will help you:
1.Neck Rotation
Warm-up Exercise
Benefit: Helps relieve pressure and relaxes the neck
2. Side Bend in Sukhasana
Seated Side Bend
Benefit: Stretches the muscles on either side of the upper body
3. Bitilasana Marjaryasana
Cat-Cow Pose
Benefit: Strengthens the arms, spine and shoulders
4. Ardha Hanumanasana
Half Splits Pose
Benefit: Stretches the lower back
5. Balasana
Child’s Pose
Benefit: Relaxes the body and improves digestion
